WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Bridget Belgiovine, Director of Athletics and Chair of the Department of Physical Education, Recreation, and Athletics at Wellesley College has announced the hiring of Sarah Paul as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Paul official joined the Wellesley Community on August 1, 2018.
Paul comes to Wellesley after spending the last two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Women's Soccer and Women's Lacrosse programs at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities providing care for both teams, Paul also worked to coordinate mental health, suicide and performance anxiety educational programming for student-athletes. Paul took full advantage of Florida's thriving Division I athletic program, working not only with her supervisors and student-athletes but with physicians, strength and conditioning staff, nutritionists and coaches.
Paul got her start at the University of Florida as an Athletic Training Intern for the Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving teams during the 2015-16 season and she has also worked as a member of USA Diving's Medical Staff, traveling nationally and internationally with the squad.
A 2012 graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.A. in Integrative Physiology and a 2015 graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a B.S. in Athletic Training, Paul received her M.S. in Sport Management from the University of Florida in 2018. Paul is a certified and licensed Athletic Trainer.
