WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley College tennis has been named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Women's All-Academic Team for an 11th consecutive season. The Blue posted a 3.82 team GPA for the year. Additionally, 11 members of the Blue have received ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.

Within the sport of tennis, student-athletes continue to exceed expectations in the classroom and on the court. In 2026, 1,309 Division III Women's student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 177 Women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.

Recent graduate Emilee Pak (Chicago, Ill.) has scored a fourth career honor.

Rising seniors Lily Cade (Minneapolis, Minn.), Dalia Khera (Houston, Texas), Veda Madhusudan (Short Hills, N.J.), Kriti Sarav (Chicago, Ill.) and Suzanne Xu (Boyds, Md.) have all received the honor.

Rising juniors Sophie Buttorff (Tacoma, Wash.), Sofia Corte-Real (Stamford, Conn.), Rianna Mariotti (Forest Hills, N.Y.) and Nandini Patel (Phoenix, Ariz.) have all secured the accolade for a second year in a row. Rising sophomore Luna Bian (Buffalo Grove, Ill.) has made the list in a first year of eligibility.

To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:

• have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
• all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:

• have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
• be listed on the institutional eligibility form

Originally founded in 1956 by the legendary UCLA men's tennis coach, J. D. Morgan, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is the governing body of college tennis, overseeing men's and women's varsity tennis at all levels – NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA and Junior/Community College.
