WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley College Head Basketball Coach and Associate Professor of the Practice Jennifer Kroll has announced the hiring of Nathan Kim as the assistant coach for basketball. Additionally, Kim's role will include being the Athletics Communications Assistant alongside Director of PERA Strategic Communications, Ryan Emerson, and Assistant Director of PERA Communications, Josh Podolsky.

Kim joins the Blue after previously serving as an Assistant Basketball Coach for high school girls and postgraduate boys at DME Academy in Daytona Beach, Fla. During Kim's time with the Academy, the Girls' National team won the 2026 Chipotle Girls' High School Nationals in Fishers, Ind. and the postgraduate boys won the 2026 Phenom Hoops Post-Grad Nationals in Rock Hill, S.C.

Kim graduated from Columbia University with a degree in economics and mathematics. While at Columbia, he served as Senior Student Manager for the Women's Basketball program, as well as an undergraduate assistant specializing in video and data analytics. Kim was also the Vice President, co-captain, and founding Director of Basketball Operations for the Men's Club Basketball team. He has also worked as a summer basketball camp coach at Stanford University since 2025 and as a finance intern for the New York Yankees in 2024.
