WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley College fencing has been named a 2025-26 United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA) All-Academic Team honoree. Additionally, 16 members of the Blue have received individual USFCA honors, including 10 who have been named Scholars of Distinction.

Head Coach Rob Charlton's squad has been named an All-Academic Team for a sixth year in a row with a 3.56 team GPA.

Recent graduates Gina Huang (Taipei, Taiwan), Lily Millard (Selkirk, N.Y.), Naomi Wang (Boston, Mass.) and Grace Xu (Toronto, Ontario), rising seniors Rebecca Hsieh (Annadale, Va.) and Lauren Khoo (San Francisco, Calif.), rising juniors Judy Bang (Seoul, South Korea), Julia Peeler (Fairfax, Va.), Renee Sun (Houston, Texas), Daisy Wiseman (Austin, Texas) and Sissi Zou (Shanghai, China), and rising sophomores Emma Fung (Saratoga, Calif.), Rai Henry (Takoma Park, Md.), Lauren Lee (San Diego, Calif.), Alice Wang (Newport Beach, Calif.) and Joy Xu (Shanghai, China) have each been recognized as Individual All-Academic honorees. 

Huang, Lee, Millard, Peeler, Sun, N. Wang, A. Wang, Wiseman, G. Xu and J. Xu have each been acknowledged as Scholars of Distinction.

The USFCA recognizes the individual student-athletes and teams based on their combined Fall and Spring semester GPAs (or Fall and Winter quarter GPAs). All-Academic Team honors are presented to those student-athletes at member institutions who had an in-season GPA of 3.3 or higher. Scholar of Distinction honors are presented to those student-athletes at member institutions who had an in-season GPA of 3.7 or higher.
