MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- The Wellesley College squash team faced tough competition on the opening day of the 2010 Wesleyan Round Robin.  The Blue dropped three matches, falling to #11 Middlebury, #13 Mount Holyoke, #24 Conn. College and #25 William-Smith. 

This weekend's results drop the Blue to 4-8 on the season. 

Against Middlebury and Mount Holyoke, Wellesley fell with matching 9-0 scores.  In the match against Conn, the Blue took the top two spots, but suffered a 7-2 defeat.  Rosemary O'Connor and Emma Haley picked up wins against the Camels.

On Sunday, the Blue suffered a 7-2 defeat at the hands of William-Smith with O'Connor and Haley again picking up the only wins for Wellesley.

The Blue are now idle until January 15th when they return to action at Mount Holyoke's Pioneer Valley Invitational.
