BOSTON, Mass. -- Wellesley College track & field's 4 x 400 meter relay team eclipsed the previous school record time by nine seconds on day two of the NEICAAA New England Indoor Championships at Boston University's Track & tennis Center.

The Blue's 4 x 400 team of Sharon Ng, Kendra Waters, Isabella Narvaez and Kathleen Hanlon ran splits of 61.3, 58.4, 56.4 and 59.4 seconds respectively to shatter the previous record with a time of 3:56.27.

Ng was also busy earlier in the day, earning All-New England recognition by virtue of her top-8 finish with her third place time of 2:55.20 in 1000 meter run.

For the weekend, both Ng and senior Taylor Bickford earned All-New England honors. Bickford took seventh place in the 5000 meter run on Friday with a school record time of 17:33.92.
