WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College swimming & diving will host the 2016 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Northeast-North Diving Regional Championships, February 26-27, 2016, at Chandler Pool.
Divers from across the region will compete for a spot at the 2016 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, March 16-19, 2016, at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C. A complete list of participants and the total number of qualifying spots available for the NCAA Championships will be announced after Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
Competition will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2016 and 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Admission will be charged, with single day ticket prices set at $3 for Students (with ID) and $6 for Adults. A two-day pass will also be available to adults for $10. In addition, Wellesley College students will be admitted free with their ID.
The host Blue currently have three divers eligible to compete at the NCAA Regional, in sophomore Emily Moore (Milwaukee, Wis.), junior Maddie Stern (Phoenix, Ariz.) and defending Regional Champion and 2015 NCAA Division III 3-Meter Diving National Champion Maura Sticco-Ivins (Framingham, Mass.).
