GRINNELL, Iowa – Wellesley College track & field senior Sharon Ng (Sunnyvale, Calif.) recorded a personal record time of 4:56.67 to take ninth place in the final of the Women's Mile at the 2016 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at Grinnell College's Charles Benson Bear '39 Rec & Athletic Center.

Ng eclipsed her previous best time of 4:57.94 at this season NEICAAA Championships with her mark of 4:56.67 in Saturday's final. The Wellesley senior advanced after running a time of 5:01.16 in Friday afternoon's prelims, the eighth fastest time in the field.  

Today's action concludes the 2015-16 indoor season for Wellesley track & field. The Blue will open the outdoor schedule on Saturday, April 2, at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Spring Invitational in New London, Conn.
