BOSTON  -- Wellesley College track & field senior Isabella Narvaez (Cali, Colombia) qualified for the finals of the 400m Dash following day one action at the NEICAAA All-New England Championships on Friday at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury. 

Narvaez opened the day in heat two of the 400m, placing eighth among all competitors with a time of 58.18 to grab the final spot in Saturday's final in the event. She will race tomorrow at 2:30 PM. The Blue senior went on to place 16th in the preliminaries of the 200m, running to a time of 25.99.

Wellesley track & field continues action at the NEICAAA Championships on Saturday. Senior Sonja Cwik (La Canada, Calif.) will run the Mile, while classmate Edie Sharon (Winchester, Mass.) will take part in the 3000m. Narvaez, Cwik, Isabella King (Cincinnati, Ohio), and Taylor Fortnam (Portola Valley, Calif.) will end the day in the 4 x 800 Relay.
