WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Senior Ari Marks (Eagle Point, Ore.) placed second in the 3000 meter race at the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. It was her second runner-up finish of the championships after taking the silver in the 5k on Friday.

Marks posted a time of 9:44.87 and took second place out of 20 runners and earned All-American honors. Kassie Parker (Guttenberg, Iowa) of Loras College took the gold medal with a time of 9:43.81.

The Blue return for the outdoor track & field season on Saturday, April 2 to host the Wellesley Invitational.
