SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Wellesley track & field senior junior Claire Anderson (Denver, Colo.) placed 14th out of 27 runners at the 2022 NEICAAA Championships hosted by Bryant University. 

Anderson clocked in at 17:56.93 on Friday evening. Erin Magill of Brandeis University was able to capture first place with a time of 16:52.26.

The Blue will compete in day two of the NEICAAA Championships tomorrow afternoon with senior Maya Bradbury (Freeport, Maine) and junior Ellie Murphy-Weise (San Francisco, Calif.) running in the 3k steeplechase at 3:00 PM.
