Bradbury and Marks Win at MIT Final Qualifier

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Wellesley track & field seniors Maya Bradbury (Freeport, Maine) and Ari Marks (Eagle Point, Ore.) each took first place in their events on Thursday evening at the MIT Final Qualifier.

Bradbury ran a personal best 11:00.35 in the 3000 meter steeplechase to take first place. She beat out Einat Gavish of MIT who clocked in at 11:02.76. Marks was able to squeak out the victory in the 1500 meter run, running a new personal best of 4:34.06 which is the third fastest time in program history. Erin Magill of Brandeis finished just over a second behind at 4:35.18.

Wellesley will look ahead to the NCAA DIII Championships on Thursday, May 26 to Saturday, May 28 in Geneva, Ohio.
