MEDFORD, Mass. – Wellesley College track & field junior Emily Doyle (Mobile, Ala.) and sophomore Ella Whinney (Madison, Wis.) took part in the Tufts University Qualifying Meet at the Gantcher Family Sports and Convocation Center on Saturday.

Whinney claimed third out of ten of the top runners in the region with a personal-best time of 5:01.01 in the Indoor Mile event.

Doyle claimed ninth in the Weight Throw event with a distance of 12.34m.

Up next, the Blue begin outdoor season at the Emory Spring Break Classic in Atlanta, Ga. on March 15.
