WORCESTER, Mass. – Wellesley College crew  wrapped up the fall season at the Wormtown Chase at Lake Quinsigamond on Saturday.

Blue Crew's Varsity Eight (V8+) boat finished third out of 22 total boats, trailing only Wesleyan University and Division I Holy Cross. Wellesley hit the finish line at 17:37.3, ahead of fellow NEWMAC competitors Mount Holyoke College, WPI, Coast Guard Academy and Clark University.

The Second Varsity Eight (2V8+) and Third Varsity Eight (3V8+) also defeated all of the other NEWMAC V8+ boats with impressive sixth and seventh place finishes respectively. The 2V8+ claimed sixth place, going neck and neck with Wesleyan B and clocking in at 18:23.1. The 3V8+ (18:30.1) came in a few seconds before Mount Holyoke and Coast Guard's "A" boats.

The Fourth Varsity Eight (4V8+) boat nearly defeated WPI's top shell. Blue Crew settled in 12th at 19:05.8 ahead of 10 other crews, many of which were "A" and "B" boats.

Wellesley has now wrapped up the fall season. The spring 2026 schedule will be released at a later date.
