POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Wellesley College golf collected fourth out of six at the one-day Vassar Invitational II at the Par 72 Casperkill Golf Course on Sunday. 

Babson College led the pack with a team score of 312. Wesleyan University (317), Ithaca College (320), the Blue (321), host Vassar College (354) and Nichols College (422) rounded out the field.

First-year Savannah Boyd (Shanghai, China) paced the Blue, going six strokes over par with a 78. The score tied for third out of 33 total individuals.

Sophomore Sophia Lewis (Ventura, Calif.) and first year Grace Yuan (Beijing, China) each carded an 80 (+8) at the one day event, placing the pair in a tie for 11th.

First year Sophie Lim (Boston, Mass.) (83, +11) and sophomore Kaurvaki Bajpai (Chantilly, Va.) (88, +16) also competed on Sunday for the Blue.

Up next, the Blue will compete at the Jack Leaman Invitational in South Hadley, Mass. on April 12-13.
