WELLESLEY, Mass. – Dawn Dill, Head Swimming & Diving Coach and PERA Assistant Professor of the Practice, has announced the hiring of Katie Gould as assistant coach of the Wellesley College swimming & diving team.
Gould joins the Blue after working as an Assistant Coach for Babson College in 2024-25. Gould has also worked as an Assistant Swim Coach at Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, Md., and as the Head Coach of FINS Swimming in Bethesda, Md. from 2016-22.Â
Gould was a decorated swimmer at Pomona College in Claremont, Calif. from 2020-24. A six-time Division III All-American and three-time DIII Scholar All-American, Gould was a 2024 NCAA DIII Champion as part of a winning 400 Free Relay team.
Outside of the pool, Gould earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona. She currently works at Newton-Wellesley Dermatology Associates as a Clinical Assistant and Scribe.
