WALTHAM, Mass. – Wellesley College fencing won all four of its matches at the Eric Sollee Invitational at Brandeis University on Saturday. Foil and epee went 4-0 while sabre won three out of four bouts.

Wellesley 23, Hunter 4

Sabre squad was spotless with a 9-0 shutout. Senior Naomi Wang (Boston, Mass.), junior Rebecca Hsieh (Annadale, Va.) and sophomore Judy Bang (Seoul, South Korea) all went 3-0 in their respective matches. Epee went 7-2, backed by three wins from sophomore Julia Peeler (Fairfax, Va.) and two apiece from senior Lily Millard (Selkirk, N.Y.) and Michelle Pan (Arlington, Mass.).

Wellesley 24, NJIT 3

Sabre earned a 9-0 victory with a clean performance from Peeler, sophomore Renee Sun (The Woodlands, Texas) and first-year Elaine Lin (Flushing, N.Y.).  Bang and first-years Rai Henry (Takoma Park, Md.), Lauren Lee (San Diego, Calif.) and Alice Wang (Newport Beach, Calif.) each picked up two bouts in sabre. Foil collected seven points. Sophomore Daisy Wiseman (Austin, Texas) had a 3-0 showing while senior Gina Huang (Taipei, Taiwan) and first-year Emma Fung (Saratoga, Calif.) combined for the other four tallies.

Wellesley 16, Stevens 11

Lin recorded a trio of victories in epee while Sun won twice and Pan added the sixth bout. Hsieh, N. Wang and Lee teamed up to sneak by Stevens in sabre with five total wins. Huang and junior Lauren Khoo (San Francisco, Calif.) both won two bouts in foil while Wiseman supplied the key fifth triumph.

Wellesley 17, NYU 10

Fung and Huang both won three bouts in foil and Khoo took two decisions. Epee eked out a 5-4 win. Lin shutout the Violets while Pan and Sun added one each. NYU won sabre 5-4, with Hsieh winning all three bouts while A. Wang added a fourth one.

Up next, Wellesley heads to Vassar College for the Eastern Women's Fencing Conference Championships on Sunday, February 15.
