EASTON, Mass. – Wellesley College track & field earned six points as a team on Friday at the NEICAAA Outdoor Championships. The event featured Division I, II and III opposition.
Senior Emily Brydges (Suffield, Conn.) was the bronze medalist in the 10000m, racing to a personal-best time of 37:32.09. Junior Perry Huang Kemper (Boise, Idaho) claimed 11th in the event, putting together a 41:19.08.
First-year Zoë Cort (San Francisco, Calif.) was the 10th place finisher in the 5000m, coming in at 18:35.47.
In the Hammer Throw, senior Kenya Francis (Atlanta, Ga.) threw 38.96m and placed 12th overall.
The event continues tomorrow, with Wellesley's first event at 11:00 AM.
