WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Wellesley College golf is tied for fourth with a 313 (+29) first day of the Williams Fall Invitational at the highly rated Par-71 Taconic Golf Club on a windy and rainy Saturday.

The Blue played with Wesleyan and Bowdoin on Saturday, with the shotgun start meaning Wellesley started on holes 4-7.

Middlebury College leads the 15-team field with a 297 (+13), while Williams College (304, +20) and Amherst College (305, +21) make up the top-three.

Senior Sarah Yeh (Danville, Calif.) led the Blue by going five strokes over (76) across 18 holes on Saturday. Yeh sprinkled in four birdies and nine pars, to be tied for 14th place out of 74 golfers.

Sophomore Jessica Li (Temecula, Calif.) shot a 79 (+8) on the day. Li shot a 37 on the in with a pair of birdies on 17 and 18, while carding a 42 on the out. Li is currently tied for 25th.

First-year Caris Lee (Los Angeles, Calif.) birdied on the fifth hole and also had a 79 (+8).

Seniors Audrey Wang (Fremont, Calif.) and  Sophia Lewis (Ventura, Calif.) matched the 79 (+8)
