WELLSLEY, Mass. – Dawn Dill, Head Swimming & Diving Coach and PERA Assistant Professor of the Practice, has announced the hiring of Sarah Altman as diving coach of the Wellesley College swimming & diving team.

Altman joins the Blue after working for Boston Area Diving in Concord, Mass. since 2020. Altman also coached Weston High School from 2021-24, with the team winning the MIAA Division II State Championship in 2022, and the East Longmeadow High School team from 2015-17. She was also the Springfield College Graduate Assistant Diving Coach between 2015-17.

Altman attended Lake Forest College in Illinois and graduated with a degree in Biology. While at Lake Forest, Altman was a diver, and captained the team for two years. She is a one-time Midwest Conference Performer of the Week recipient and was a member of the Lake Forest All-Sportsmanship Team. Altman later earned a Master's of Education from Springfield College.
