Wellesley College welcomes Skye Riddle as Assistant Coach of the Wellesley softball team (November 12, 2021).

Riddle was the Assistant Softball Coach at Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia from 2016-2017. She then served as the Intern Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Riddle remained in the strength & conditioning field after earning the Merge Online Internship in 2020. With the internship she put together presentations regarding nutrition and contributed to seminars and lectures focused on strength & conditioning programming. Most recently, Riddle was the Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Boston College.

Riddle joins Wellesley with the help of an NCAA Coaching Enhancement Grant. The Division III diversity grants provide grant funding to members committed to enhancing ethnic minority and gender representation in athletics administration and assistant coaching positions. The Coaching Enhancement Grant funds new, full-time assistant coaching positions for all NCAA-sponsored sports during a two-year commitment.

Originally from Medford, Massachusetts, Riddle graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She then earned her Master of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Merrimack College in May of 2021.
