Joseph Lauer joined Wellesley cross country and track & field as an assistant coach at the start of the 2017 season. A visiting lecturer in Wellesley's Mathematics Department, Lauer found a passion for running after college and has gone on to run numerous marathons, including the Boston Marathon.
