Biography
2024-25:
- Began the season with a personal-best time in the 100 Fly (1:05.90) against Wheaton on Oct. 25
- Runner-up performance in the 200 Breaststroke (2:38.56) in a win over Mount Holyoke
- Made the “B” finals of the 100 Breaststroke at the MIT Winter Invite (1:10.76)
- Set a personal best with a time of 29.75 in the 50 Fly at the Sisters Invitational
- Had a PR in the 200 Breaststroke (2:37.87) versus Smith and Springfield
- Placed 10th in the “A” finals of the 200 Breaststroke (2:32.40), sixth in the “B” finals of the 100 Breaststroke (1:10.41) and 31st with a PR in the 200 IM (2:20.86) at the NEWMAC Championships
2023-24:
- Did not compete as a junior
2022-23:
- Did not compete as a sophomore
2021-22:
- Made collegiate debut versus Wheaton on Oct. 30
- Had two first place finishes versus Simmons in the 100 Breast (1:10.77) and 200 Breast (2:33.39)
- Placed 19th in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:33.21 at the NEWMAC Championships
Before Wellesley:
- Four-year varsity athlete in swimming and two-year varsity in cross country
- Swim team Captain and MVP junior, senior year
- Competed both at Taipei regionals and nationals
Personal:
- Attended Taipei American School, graduated in 2021
- Favourite colour is blue
- Older sister, Shawyuan Hsu '23, swam at Wellesley College for two years

- Chose to attend Wellesley because it offers the balance between rigorous academics and athletics, allowing to excel in both without sacrificing personal or academic growth. Also enjoys suburban setting, which provides a peaceful environment while still being close to Boston for more opportunities and experiences
