WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Wellesley fencing team is set to host the NFC Conference No. 3 Invite on Saturday, February 5 starting at 10:00 AM. There will be a total of six rounds, with both men and women to participate. UMass, UNH, Dartmouth, Boston University, Vassar, Sacred Heart, Tufts Women, and Wellesley are scheduled to compete.
The Blue open up round one versus UNH at 10:00 followed by Tufts University in round two. After a bye in round three, Wellesley finishes off the day with Sacred Heart, Dartmouth, and Vassar. Following the events will be Senior Day to honor Blue seniors Yasemin Ersen (Newton, Mass.) and Sam Wolstenholme-Britt (Cary, N.C.).
Saturday's fencing meet will be streamed on the WellesleyAthletics YouTube channel. The morning stream will begin at 10:00 AM and the afternoon stream will begin at 1:30 PM. Due to the College's protocols, the event is closed to ALL spectators, including Wellesley College students, faculty, and staff.
