WESTWOOD, Mass. – With the conclusion of the 2024 women's volleyball regular season on Saturday evening, the NEWMAC has released the 2024 NEWMAC Volleyball Championship bracket. The NEWMAC Volleyball Championship consists of eight teams that will compete for the crown, which will begin on Tuesday, November 12 with the quarterfinal round.
As the No. 3 seed, Smith (9-2) has also earned the right to host a quarterfinal match-up. Taylor Gwynne is third in the league with 9.44 assists per set, while Abby Hunt is fifth with 3.59 kills per set. The Pioneers will face No. 6 Wellesley (6-5), who is led by sophomore Kate Giang. Giang leads the league with 4.68 kills per set.
Tickets for NEWMAC championship events can be purchased through the NEWMAC box office. The NEWMAC encourages fans to purchase their mobile tickets in advance of the event to streamline the entry process on game day. Spectators may purchase mobile tickets on site, but no cash option will be available. Ticket prices are $10 for general admission. Children under 12 and NEWMAC students with a valid institutional ID are free and do not need to purchase a mobile ticket. Once a matchup is confirmed following each round of the championship the tickets will become available.
