MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- Wellesley College swimming & diving first-year Alexis Kung (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) has earned NEWMAC Women's Swimming & Diving Swimmer of the Week honors for the week ending on Novemeber 9. Additionally, the 200 Medley Relay team of seniors Tracey Liu (Princeton, N.J.), Kavita Sekhon (Los Angeles, Calif.) and first-years Kung and Adilene Dela Cruz (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) has claimed the Relay of the Week accolade.

Kung played a key role in Wellesley's wins over Simmons and Merrimack on Saturday. Kung won the 50 Free (25.31), 100 Back (58.91), and 200 Back (2:08.55) events.

Liu, Sekhon, Kung and Dela Cruz won the 200 Medley Race over Simmons and Merrimack with a top time of 1:49.58.

Up next, the Blue will host Coast Guard Academy on Friday, November 14 at 6:00 PM.
