NEW ORLEANS, La. – Wellesley College seniors Emily Brydges (Suffield, Conn.) and Ella Whinney (Madison, Wis.) have been recognized as All-Region honorees for the 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country season. The All-Region teams were recognized on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following Regional Championships Saturday.

Athletes earned All-Region distinction by virtue of a top-35 finish at one of the ten regional sites this past weekend. Only athletes from USTFCCCA member institutions are eligible for awards.

Whinney placed 10th out of 214 runners at this past Saturday's NCAA East Regional Championship with a time of 21:48.5. Whinney has earned All-Region honors all four years as a member of the Blue.

Brydges has claimed a first career All-Region accolade after taking 14th at the NCAA East Regional Championship with a 22:00.0 time.

The duo will now race at the 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 22, at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C.
