WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College swimming & diving juniors Tracey Liu (Princeton, N.J.) and Emily Richardson (Bedford, N.H.) and sophomores Chelsea Park (Long Beach, Calif.) and Chloe Weingarten (Rochester, Minn.) have all received the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team distinction.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The award is given to athletes who in addition to being impactful on their respective team, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, and have achieved second year status at their academic institution
Liu placed ninth in the "A" finals of the 100 Back at the NEWMAC Swimming & Diving Championships with a 58.94 performance. Richardson finished seventh at the Championships in the 1650 Free, with a PR time of 18:14.38. Park made the "B" finals at NEWMACs in both the 100 Fly and 100 Breaststroke while Weingarten competed in the "B" finals of the 400 IM.
