Five Earn NEWMAC Spring Sportsmanship Recognition

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – Wellesley Athletics seniors Colette Kennedy (Mill Valley, Calif.), Anna Tutek (Trumbull, Conn.) and Lauren Young (Fresno, Calif.), junior Simone Beauchamp (Aurora, Colo.) and first-year Rianna Mariotti (Forest Hills, N.Y.) have all earned a selection to the 2025 NEWMAC Spring All-Sportsmanship Team. 2025 marks the second time that Tutek and Beauchamp have earned the honor.

Wellesley Recipients:

The All-Sportsmanship award is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each institution in every sport that best demonstrates the ideals of the NEWMAC and its Code of Conduct, regardless of their overall performance or statistics for the season.


The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) consists of 12 highly selective institutions committed to academic excellence: Babson College, Clark University, U.S Coast Guard Academy, Emerson College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mount Holyoke College, Salve Regina University, Smith College, Springfield College, Wellesley College, Wheaton College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
