Swimming & Diving Lands Seven on NEWMAC Academic All-Conference List

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – Wellesley College swimming & diving has earned seven spots on the 2025-26 NEWMAC Women's Swimming & Diving Academic All-Conference Team. 

Selections must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2025 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

Senior Tracey Liu (Princeton, N.J.) has scored a third straight Academic All-Conference honor. Classmates Julia Reich (Bronxville, N.Y.) and Kavita Sekhon (Los Angeles, Calif.) both took home a second career recognition alongside junior Chelsea Park (Long Beach, Calif.) and Chloe Weingarten (Rochester, Minn.).

Sophomores Samara Burstein (New York, N.Y.) and Lily Fender (Burnsville, N.C.) each earned the honor in their first year of eligibility.

The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) consists of 12 highly selective institutions committed to academic excellence: Babson College, Clark University, U.S Coast Guard Academy, Emerson College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mount Holyoke College, Salve Regina University, Smith College, Springfield College, Wellesley College, Wheaton College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
