MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – Wellesley College softball has sent nine members of the team to the 2026 NEWMAC Softball Academic All-Conference Team.
Seniors Andrea Delgado (Miami, Fla.), Emeline Gaunce (Los Altos, Calif.) and Chiara Lundin (Piedmont, Calif.) have all scored a third honor in their respective careers.
Juniors Diana Borrison (San Jose, Calif.), Emily Kulhanek (Newbury Park, Calif.), Alena Mulhern (Kingston, Mass.) and Sarah Wicker (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.) have each made it back-to-back trips to the Academic All-Conference team.
Sophomores Bella Hassett (North Granby, Conn.) and Natalie Nicol (Crockett, Texas) both made the list in their first year of eligibility.
Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2025 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) consists of 12 highly selective institutions committed to academic excellence: Babson College, Clark University, U.S Coast Guard Academy, Emerson College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mount Holyoke College, Salve Regina University, Smith College, Springfield College, Wellesley College, Wheaton College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
