16 Members of Track & Field Earn NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Accolade

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – 16 members of the Wellesley College track & field team have been recognized on the 2026 NEWMAC Track & Field Academic All-Conference Team.

Seniors Simone Beauchamp (Aurora, Colo.), Emily Brydges (Suffield, Conn.), Meg Dugan (Cohasset, Mass.), Sara Maeve Klingensmith (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Dova Koretsky (Pepperell, Mass.), Claire Peng (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Caelan Schretzmayer (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) and Ella Whinney (Madison, Wis.) have all collected a third career Academic All-Conference honor.

Junior Perry Huang Kemper (Boise, Idaho) has captured a second straight award.

Sophomores Maggie Berlinger (Ashby, Mass.), Julia Carmona (Bronx, N.Y.), Addie Maguire (Oakland, Calif.), Leeya Rice (Closter, N.J.), Maya Sharar (Andover, Mass.), Ellie Wolf (Irvine, Calif.) and Helen Yang (Woodland Hills, Calif.) have each been recognized in their first year of eligibility.

Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2025 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) consists of 12 highly selective institutions committed to academic excellence: Babson College, Clark University, U.S Coast Guard Academy, Emerson College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mount Holyoke College, Salve Regina University, Smith College, Springfield College, Wellesley College, Wheaton College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
