INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Wellesley College diver Hayley Goydan made it two-for-two, as the sophomore earned her second honorable mention All-America honors on the final day of the 2012 NCAA Championships at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Goydan took 11th overall on the 3-meter board, recording 417.5 total points. In the preliminaries, she finished with a score of 398.85. Earlier this week, Goydan finished 10th on the 1-meter board to earn the first All-American honor of her career.
Goydan's scoring, along with points from fellow sophomore Keelin Nave, who took 12th in the 200-fly, put Wellesley in 33rd place overall out of 65 represented teams. Goydan and Nave combined for 18 points and three honorable mention All-America honors at the event.
The NCAA Championship concluded a fantastic 2011-12 season for the Wellesley swimming and diving team. The Blue took 3rd place overall at the NEWMAC Championships, the program's best finish since the 2006-07 season. Head coach Bonnie Dix, along with assistant coach Carlos Vega, and diving coach Aaron Paradis, also led the team to it's 15th-straight Seven Sisters Championship.
