BRUNSWICK, Maine -- The Wellesley College tennis team completed the 2017 fall season over the weekend at the Bowdoin College Invitational in Brunswick, Maine.

The Blue squared off with Bates College, Skidmore College, Tufts University, and host Bowdoin College in singles and doubles draws on both Friday and Saturday. Complete results are listed below. 

The Blue finished the weekend with a combined record of 4-25, after going 1-12 on Friday and 3-13 on Saturday. The doubles duo of sophomore Selina Peng (Taichung, Taiwan) and junior Tristan Lorich (New York, N.Y.) earned a pair of wins to lead the squad, while sophomore Korina Hernandez (Tampa, Fla.) and junior Rosanne Hu (Sugar Land, Texas) earned a doubles win on Sunday. First year Abigail Schleichkorn (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) was the only Wellesley player to earn a singles win. The singles win was also the first of Schleichkorn's collegiate career. 

This weekend's action concludes the fall season for the Blue tennis team. Wellesley will return to the courts with a 2:00 PM match on March 3, 2018 at Skidmore.
