NORTON, Mass. – Sophomore Olivia Chow-Gillette (Dallas, Texas) delivered all the offense that Wellesley College soccer needed in a 1-0 NEWMAC victory at Wheaton College on Saturday at Christina Mirrione '99 Stadium.

Chow-Gillette put the Blue (5-3-1 Overall, 1-1-0 NEWMAC) on the board at the 50:10 mark with a shot set up by a pass from senior Carrie Huang (Seattle, Wash.). Chow-Gillette leads Wellesley with five goals this season. 

The Blue held a 15-6 shot advantage for the contest and attempted four corner kicks.

Wellesley keeper Sascha Fleesler (New York City, N.Y.) earned the clean sheet in goal with two saves. First year Emma Hogarth (Chandler, Ariz.) placed a couple of kicks on goal to help pace the Blue offense.

Junior goalie Patricia Bandrup (Poway, Calif.) stopped six shots in net for the Lyons (4-2-3 Overall, 0-1-1 NEWMAC).

Next up, the Blue will welcome Babson College at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 5. The Lyons head to Brandeis University for a 4:30 PM kickoff.
