DELHI, N.Y. – Wellesley College soccer controlled the offense and picked up a 1-0 versus SUNY Delhi at Neil Riddell Field on Saturday. The team put up 31 shots and limited SUNY Delhi to two.  

First year Solveig Unteroberdoerster (Chevy Chase, Md.) put the Blue (2-1) on the board at the 48:40 mark. After classmate Isabella Tolosa (Santa Clara, Calif.) fired a shot that hit off the goalie's hands, Unteroberdoerster ripped the putback in the left side of the goal. Tolosa now has three assists in three games for the Blue.

Junior Sascha Fleesler (New York City, N.Y.) made a pair of saves in a shutout performance for Wellesley.

Sophomore keeper Abigail Allen (Orange Park, Fla.) kept the Broncos (1-1) competitive with 11 saves.

The Blue will host its season opener against UMass Boston at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11. The Broncos are at Russell Sage on the same day at 6:00 PM.
