INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Wellesley College cross country seniors Emily Brydges (Suffield, Conn.) and Ella Whinney (Madison, Wis.) have both been named an individual qualifier for the 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.
The 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships will take place on Saturday, November 22 at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C. with Converse University and OneSpartanburg, Inc. serving as the hosts for the event.. The Men's 8k Race will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the Women's 6k Race at 11:00 AM.
Whinney came in 10th out of 214 runners at the weekend's NCAA East Regional Championship with a 21:48.5 showing. Brydges took 14th at 22:00.0. Whinney has previously competed at the 2023 and 2024 DIII Championships. Brydges recently received NEWMAC All-Conference honors.
