Volleyball Sees Four Earn CSC Academic All-District Recognition

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley College volleyball senior Kaija Kunze-Hoeg (Eagan, Minn.), juniors Evie Hill (Rocklin, Calif.) and Caroline Meyer (Indianapolis, Ind.) and sophomore Else Kunze-Hoeg (Eagan, Minn.) have all been selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. K. Kunze-Hoeg receives the honor for a third time while Hill collects a second CSC Academic All-District accolade.

The 2025 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The award is given to athletes who in addition to being impactful on their respective team, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, and have achieved second year status at their academic institution.

K. Kunze-Hoeg made the NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference this season, leading the Blue with 351 digs and 274 kills. 

Hill earned 186 kills in addition to 179 digs and 40 aces this season. Meyer was second on the unit with 324 digs and served up 28 aces.

E. Kunze-Hoeg was a workhorse with a team-leading 596 assists. The sophomore added 99 kills, 33 aces, 203 digs and 37 blocks to the totals.
