WELLESLEY, Mass. - Wellesley College golf finished the 2025 Ann S. Batchelder Match Play Championship with a 2-2 record after splitting two Sunday matches at Nehoiden Golf Club. The Blue edged Amherst 3-2, but fell to tournament champion Williams 5-0.
Picking up wins for the Blue against Amherst on Sunday included junior
Sophia Lewis (Ventura, Calif.) who won 3&2 at the No. 1 spot. Lewis went 3-1 for the weekend.
Junior
Grace Sun (San Diego, Calif.) also won for the third time in four matches over the weekend. Sun won 4&3.
First-year
Jessica Li (Temecula, Calif.) came away with the match-clinching point with a 2&1 triumph.
Sophomore
Savannah Boyd (Shanghai, China) and first-year
Kate Lee (Lake Oswego, Ore.) also competed to round out the Blue lineup.
The Blue travel to Middlebury next weekend to compete at the George Phinney Classic held at Ralph Myhre Golf Course.
