WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College swimming & diving senior Kavita Sekhon (Los Angeles, Calif.) and the 200 Medley Relay team of senior Tracey Liu (Princeton, N.J.), Sekhon, and first-years Lucy Choe (Ellicott City, Md.) and Alexis Kung (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.)Â have qualified for the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships.
The championships will take place at the IU Natatorium at IU Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Ind. from March 18-21, 2026. IU Indy will host the event.
Sekhon won the NEWMAC 100 Breaststroke event with a 1:03.10 time, earning First Team All-Conference honors. Sekhon's time of 1:02.96 in the event at the MIT Winter Invite currently ranks No. 15 in NCAA DIII this season.Â
The 200 Medley Relay finished second at the NEWMAC Championships and set a program record with a 1:32.27 time, which ranks No. 22 in NCAA DIII this season. The quartet also took second at the NEWMAC Championships in the 400 Medley Relay. The Blue set another program record of 3:48.83, currently No. 21 in NCAA DIII this year.
The 400 Medley Relay will take place on Wednesday, March 18, with prelims in the morning and finals at night. Sekhon will also compete in the 200 IM on Wednesday. The quartet competes in the 200 Free Relay on Thursday, March 19. Friday, March 20 will see the 200 Medley Relay compete, along with Sekhon in the 100 Breaststroke race. Sekhon will wrap up competition on Saturday, March 21 in the 200 Breaststroke event.
