MILTON, Mass. – Wellesley College volleyball won all six sets of a tri-match at Curry College with Lesley College on Saturday. The Blue (4-2) are now riding a four-match win streak, and haven't dropped a set during that span.

Wellesley 3, Lesley 0 (25-8, 25-14, 25-18)

11 kills on .500 hitting from junior Ella Mancuso (North Andover, Mass.) and six aces and 12 assists by senior Noelle Winn (San Francisco, Calif.) guided the Blue to a straightforward victory. Sophomore Brianna Milliken (Newton, Mass.) notably had three solo blocks at the net.

Wellesley blitzed the Lynx with seven of the first nine points. An 11-0 run highlighted a one-sided set, with Lesley never back within 10 after that.

The second set featured a dozen kills and a .276 hitting percentage from Coach Webb's team. Lesley held the set in check through 10-8 Wellesley, before the Blue launched six straight points to put distance between the two teams. Another 6-0 stretch propelled Wellesley to the finish line, with first-year Anabelle Wyatt (Evergreen, Colo.) sealing the set with a kill.

After trailing 9-8, the Blue quickly picked up steam in the third, collecting 12 of the 13 points. After going down 24-13, the Lynx saved five match points in a valiant effort before finally falling 25-18 at the hands of a Milliken block.

Wellesley 3, Curry 0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-14)

First-year Delia Noel (Telluride, Colo.) led all players with 13 kills on .474 hitting. The Blue hit .301 for the match and totaled 36 kills. Senior Evie Hill (Rocklin, Calif.) and Mancuso added seven kills apiece, while Hill also posted four aces. Kunze-Hoeg registered 29 assists and 11 digs, while libero Caroline Meyer (Indianapolis, Ind.) collected a match-high 12 digs. 

Wellesley opened the match with a 6-3 lead after an ace by Meyer. The Blue later led by seven at 22-15 thanks to a double block by junior Sarah Jin (San Jose, Calif.) and Noel. The Colonels battled back by scoring the next four points, but kills by Noel and Hill down the stretch gave Wellesley the 25-21 first set victory. 

In the second, the momentum went back and forth for the first 20 points of the frame. The Blue then used a 7-1 run to take command at 18-10. After Curry responded by scoring four of the next five points, Wellesley recorded four kills during a 6-2 spurt to close the set 25-16.   

The Blue attack combined for 15 kills and a .591 hitting percentage en route to a 25-14 win in the third set. Noel added six kills in the set to finish with 13. Hill added four, while Mancuso had three in the set. Wellesley raced out to an 11-2 lead and never looked back.
