WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College basketball head coach Jennifer Kroll has announced the team's 2026-27 schedule. The schedule features 23 contests and nine home games at Dorothy Towne Fieldhouse, including the season opener versus Rivier University on Friday, November 6.

Following the home opener with Rivier, the Blue will play a pair of road matchups at Worcester State University (Nov. 11) and Elms College (Nov. 14). The team will then head to Westfield State University and compete in the Westfield Gas and Electric Tip-off Tournament on November 20-21. November closes out when the Blue will welcome Wentworth Institute of Technology on November 24.

December starts with the team taking part in the Ed Hockenbury Classic at Norwich University on December 4-5. Wellesley faces the host on Friday and depending on outcomes will play either Westfield State or Keene State University on Saturday. The last contest of 2026 is a home game at Dorothy Towne Fieldhouse versus Lesley University on December 8.

Coach Kroll's team begins the 2027 portion of the season by competing away from home at Regis (Jan. 2) and Nichols (Jan. 9). The Blue will welcome Fisher College on January 12 before opening NEWMAC play at home with Mount Holyoke (Jan. 16). 

The final 10 games of the season will feature four NEWMAC home games and six NEWMAC away games. The Blue are home versus Smith College (Jan. 27), MIT (Feb. 3), Babson College (Feb. 6) and Springfield (Feb. 13) and on the road against Emerson College (Jan. 20), Coast Guard Academy (Jan. 23), Wheaton College (Jan. 30), Clark University (Feb. 10), WPI (Feb. 17) and Salve Regina University (Feb. 20).

Saturday, February 10 against Springfield will serve as Senior Day, #Earn The W Day and National Girls & Women in Sports Day.

The NEWMAC Women's Basketball Championship will be held from February 24-28, 2027.
