WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College basketball junior Trinity Barrow (Evans, Ga.) and sophomores Stacy Chen (Minneapolis, Minn.) and Emaleena Elson (Irvine, Calif.) have all received the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team recognition.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The award is given to athletes who in addition to being impactful on their respective team, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, and have achieved second year status at their academic institution
Barrow scored 12.3 points per game this season and led the Blue with 4.1 assists per game and 2.8 steals per game. The sophomore made a second consecutive NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference and was named NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week on two occasions.
Chen scored 9.0 points per game over the year while grabbing 4.2 rebounds per game and recording 29 season steals. Elson hit nine threes and notably scored eight points in a win over Mount Holyoke College.
