Open Recreation Hours - Fall 2025

Location: KSC Multipurpose Gym
Wednesdays: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Fridays: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
(CLOSED: Friday, October 24)
(CLOSED: Monday, November 24 thru Sunday, November 30)
Open Recreation provides students with the space and resources to recreate how they would like. It is a crucial part of Recreation’s efforts to create opportunities for unstructured play, social time, and physical activity. “Play in YOUR way!” Open Recreation is open to all Wellesley College students, faculty, and staff; however, priority is always given to students. Examples of activities include pickleball, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, soccer, dodgeball and kickball to name a few.
Equipment can be rented at the front desk. You can usually find our Open Recreation student workers in the multipurpose gym. They will be able to provide you with any equipment you may want and can help you with rules or equipment set-up. They are there for you! Sometimes they even umpire.
