WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- After day one at the Williams Fall
Classic, the Wellesley College golf team is in fifth place out of
10 competing teams.
Leading the way for Wellesley is senior Kim
Eaton who's round one score of 81
ties her for second place overall. She sits behind William's
Alexandra Groetsema who carded a 71 on the par-71, 5,826-yard
course.
Sophomore Cassandra
Tavolarella currently sits tied for 23rd after
shooting a 94. Right behind her, First-year Alexandra
Fuiks tallied a 95 to tie for 25th.
Other Wellesley golfers included junior Alexis
Kelleher who sits in 31st with a 99, while first-year
Lindsey
Shephardson is tied for 40th with a 109.
The tournament continues tomorrow at 11:00am.
