The Wellesley College Golf team finished in fifth place out of
13 teams at the 35th-annual Mount Holyoke College Invitational. The
two-day event was hosted by The Orchards Golf Club (par 72 –
5,880 yards).
Wellesley senior Kim
Eaton once again led the way for the Blue. After
shooting a 77 on day one, she finished the tournament with a round
of 80 for a total of 157. Also having a solid tournament for the
Blue, Michelle
Cho tied for 20th overall with a two-day score of 162
(81-81).
Cassandra
Tavolarella shot an 82, knocking two strokes off
of her day one 84 to finish in 31st place with a 166. Alexandra
Fuiks shot rounds of 82 and 90 to finish tied for 39th
(172) while Lindsey
Shephardson finished in 64th with a 198
(97-101).
The Blue are next in action at the Williams Fall Invitational on
Saturday and Sunday.
