WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Wellesley College golf team sits in eighth place out of 11 teams after day one of competition at the Williams College Fall Invitational. The event is being held at the par-71, 5,827-yard Taconic Golf Club.
Leading the way for Wellesley is first-year Alexandria Lee who recorded a top-10 score of 82 in round one. Behind Lee, Alexandra Fuiks and Michelle Cho are within one stroke of each other, recording scores of 91 and 92.
Also competing for Wellesley, Lindsey Shephardson recorded a 103 and Young Hsu notched a 109.
The Williams Fall Invitational continues tomorrow morning.
