TAMPA, Fla. -- The Wellesley College golf team opened their spring season at the Northern Illinois University Snowbird Intercollegiate. The Blue sit in 10th place after round one at the par-72, 6,074-yard Pebblecreek Golf and Country Club.
Leading Wellesley is senior Kim Eaton who fired a first-round 82 (39-42) to tie for 29th place overall. Sophomore Michelle Cho and first-year Alexandra Fuiks, recorded matching 90's to tie for 53rd place.
Also for Wellesley, first-year Lindsey Shephardson shot a 91 to sit in 56th place, and sophomore Young Hsu's 107 puts her in 63rd place.
The tournament continues tomorrow at 9:00am.
