TAMPA, Fla. -- The Wellesley College golf team closed their spring break trip with an 11th place finish at the Northern Illinois University Snowbird Intercollegiate.
Wellesley senior Kim Eaton had another solid performance in the tournament, held at the par-72, 6,074-yard Pebblecreek Golf and Country Club. After carding a round one 82, she shaved one stroke to record an 81 on day two. Eaton's two day total of 163 placed her 27th overall.
Also for Wellesley, first-year Alexandra Fuiks placed 56th overall with scores of 90 and 91. Sophomore Michelle Cho and first-year Lindsey Shephardson tied for 57th place, while rounding out the action, sophomore Young Hsu finished 63rd.
Blue golf is back in action on April 9th and 10th at the Vassar Invitational.
