WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Wellesley College golf team closed out its spring season with a seventh place showing at the Williams College Spring Invitational. The event was held at the par-71, 5,827-yard Taconic Golf Club.
Leading the way for Blue golfers was senior standout Kim Eaton who finished in 12th place overall. She rebounded from a day-one 86 to fire a 78 on day two, finishing with a final total of 164.
All three of Wellesley's other golfers also improved on their day one scores. Lindsey Shephardson shot a 90 on day two, after a day-one 92 to finish in 23rd with 182. Michelle Cho shaved three strokes off of her day-one 95, carding a 92 to day two to finish in 27th place (187). Finally, Young Hsu dropped her day-one 103 to a 98 on day two, finishing in 32nd with a 201.
The Williams Spring Invitational concludes the regular season for the Wellesley team. Eaton, an NCAA-qualifier in each of her three previous seasons for the Blue, will await NCAA Championship selections.
